Who are I & S Construction Ltd?

I & S Construction Ltd was founded in 2003 by Ilir Nabolli and Shefqet Kraja. Both had been working in the Drylining and Ceilings trade for a number of years and had progressed from site fixers to Site Managers with SMSTS Qualifications. Having worked as labour only subcontractors to large Drylining organisations they realised they had the ability to compete for works in their own right.

Through providing sound technical expertise, an in depth knowledge of the products, a proactive approach to programming and sequencing, a willingness to coordinate closely with other trades, and using their in-house skilled labour resources I & S have now continually provided high quality finished projects on time and on budget for fourteen years.

In 2011 I & S Construction Ltd expanded into the market of providing Lightweight Steel solutions to the industry with particular emphasis on the growing residential market. Once again, this venture was managed directly by Ilir and Shef who gained “hands on” experience themselves with the new products and techniques required.

As a result of their dedication and hard work Ilir and Shef have grown the organisation into a £5 million turnover business employing over 100 operatives and staff.

In 2015 Colin Frondigoun was recruited as Commercial Director taking responsibility for estimating, tendering and quantity surveying to free Ilir and Shef up to concentrate on Contracts Management to ensure that clients continue to receive the unquestionable benefits of their direct involvement at site level. Colin has over thirty years’ experience in the Construction Industry and has worked for both Main Contractors and Subcontractors with many years’ experience in Drylining and Ceilings.

I & S Construction Ltd has been developed into a business that can provide a professionally managed, quality service to the industry and is able to offer a service either directly to an end user client or via a Main Contractor.
